Most doctors have their favourite web sites bookmarked. Here are some of the site recommended by General Practice Registrars Australia and doctors interviewed by Australian Doctor for this article. Many of these sites are subscription only or require registrations.

Medline (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) provides free access to the US-based National Center for Biotechnology Information. Search for key words under PubMed Services Clinical Queries.
GPRA Online Clinical Resources (www.gpra.org.au).
UpToDate (www.uptodate.com) has evidence-based clinical information available to subscribers.
Department of Dermatology, Medical University of Graz, Austria (www.telederm.org) is a free site for medical professionals interested in teledermatology. Doctors can send digital photos to the site for diagnosis and discussion.
ACRRM Clinical Guidelines (www.acrrm.org.au).
National Prescribing Service (www.nps.org.au).
NSW Clinical Information Access Program (www.clininfo.health.nsw.gov.au) is not available to all doctors but includes MIMS, the Cochrane Library and therapeutic guidelines.
RACGP Library (www.racgp.org.au/library/).
Australian Doctor web site (www.australiandoctor.com.au) includes access to Australian Doctor content and CPD online.

Curriculum

Registrars enrolled with GPlogic are able to apply for associate membership of the NSW Central West Division of General Practice or the Dubbo Plains Division of General Practice and access the extensive resource libraries.
