Welcome to GPlogic

We’re very proud of our training program.

It’s flexible. It’s innovative and upon completion, you will have a very strong chance of success in your exams from both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

In fact, 83% of our candidates pass their examinations first time round and overall 98% achieve their fellowships.

Our program is heavily focused on ‘on-the-job’ training.

It is delivered by experienced general practitioners who act as your supervisor within your chosen practice/s.

GPlogic complements this training with:

  • continual support and advice from our education team of experienced general practitioners and educationists

  • two three day workshops each term and monthly teleconferences designed to address those areas of the college curricula which form part of the college examinations

  • hospital based education sessions for registrars completing their initial hospital experience

  • a comprehensive pre-exam workshop series including mock clinical examinations

  • a series of flexible on-line modules on topics of particular relevance to those starting in general practice

  • an online learning management system that delivers and supports educational activity and training events through

    • announcements, news, calendar of events

    • discussion forums and study groups

    • access to resources, including material from workshops and teleconferences

    • enhanced support and communication through discussion forums and web cameras and

    • online access to your personal educational records.

  • an on-line education system to enable registrars to participate in chat forums, study groups and to seek advice

  • provision of pod casts of regional hospital grand rounds and
